Species of Man the original game it is game is meant for those who like to spend day playing out a good scenario. For there many options and this version of the game has more depth in game play. It has been designed for the deep thinkers and those enjoy good battle. But remember there some stupid or foolish mistakes which can make the scenario very short played. Species of Man Next-Level Expansion This expansion is far different from the original game missiles are phased out long range torpedoes on ship only. Fighters and shuttles still have missiles which can cause attacking or defending fleet a lot of head aches if the opponent has the advantage with huge number of fighter and shuttles such as Xanthan forces do. This version of the game allows players that enjoy using missiles in game to use those weapons. This version of the game is for players who like well played out scenario battles that take a little time to play. Also this expansion fixes many bugs in the original game. Species of Man Next-Phase Expansion This expansion has replaced every missile in the game with Long range torpedoes. Also there is a counter measure device which is the chaff dispersion cannon( not to be confused with government office of CDC). This allows a much faster game. This version of the game is for players who like well played out scenario battles that take a little time to play. Also this expansion fixes bugs in the original game. Need original game to play this expansion.
Species of Man Quick-Kill Expansion This expansion is more simplified version of the game and has same feel of game play as original game with a lot less rules. This version of the game has faster game player and is for game players who do like to play a game with rules, but like the feel of a good space combat simulator game. This version of the game is meant for those who like a good battle or scenario involving some combat or some other ship action. But like I said it has less rules and is simpler to play. Species of Man Quick-Kill Extreme Expansion This is same game as Quick-Kill but the ships offensive fire power is increased greatly and defenses are reduced for very fast and deadly space combat game. This version of the game is for insane fun. Many of my friends that play tested it liked Quick-Kill, but there are times for nonsense wholesome destruction of a fleet. In Quick-Kill a player plans their tactics to beat their opponent. Not this version of the game, the tactics are not for your opponent not to beat you down. This version of the game in fleet combat action scenario, a players could end up with one turn of combat having half of their fleet on both sides destroyed. Species of Man Next-Realm Module This version of the game, is stand alone game and does not need original game to play. This is module of the game has same feel of the original game, but plays much faster and is simplified more for fast learning how to play the game. This module of the game allows for some players to enjoy the game in more relax way of playing the game.
Species of Man Next-Realm Extended-Play Expansion. This version of the game needs Next-Realm game to play. This expansion of the game has same feel of the original game, but plays much faster and is simplified more for fast learning how to play the game. This version of the game allows for some players to enjoy the game in more relax way of playing the game. This version of Next-Realm Extended Play goes deeper into ship boarding, ground combat to some degree, with other non ship combat or actions.
I have new person to help me edit my game in better capacity and the newer version of the game involves fleet action done except for cover art which should be this week and final editing session and should wrap up this version of the game. Then it will be ready to go to the copyright office. There are ten or more games can be worked on, but I am limited by time. I will start my mini campaign game series which will take a month or two to finish. It was play tested a lot and many of fellow players want to see it completed and off to copyright office. Need to do the artwork and work rules better.
Also there is simple version of the game being developed and play tested which involves playing cards and dice, play sheet for recording damage points and certain actions. This version for those who are various card games. This version of the game will be challenge to develop because I like to maintain the feel of the game in combat but is designed for that unique version or variant of the original game.
All these versions of the game is attempt to find a way to establish a good customer base and to have something for everyone to enjoy. Not every game is for every one but maybe a game could be for everyone if the game has many different variants to meet each different players needs.
There is Steam Punk Version of the game and personal combat module is in the works that will lead into role-playing. There is a expansion for fighters that adds many type of fighters and shuttles.
